Three styles in one window designed by Woodson & Rummerfield for #LEGENDS2013 at Szalon exhibit the timeless looks of the past, present and future.  The design duo’s message: “Timeless design transcends all eras.”

Ron Woodson and Jaime Rummerfield are one of the most sought after tickets in the design scene. Co-owners of the Los Angeles interior design firm Woodson & Rummerfield’s House of Design, the design partners are true California stylemakers. Woodson & Rummerfield’s House of Design specializes in creating luxurious interiors combining Hollywood opulence and sleek modernity for a discerning clientele. The pair decorate breathtaking homes for some of the most dynamic and eclectic personalities around the globe. Woodson & Rummerfield have been published in over 50 magazines, including Traditional HomeHouse Beautiful and Architectural Digest on an international level, and they often make appearances on television. Their stunning projects along with décor shopping tips and tricks can also be seen in their book High Style.

Szalon is dedicated to Hungarian and Central European antiques of the early 20th Century. The showroom features furniture and decorative arts from the Vienna Secession, Art Deco and Bauhaus eras, presenting a highly accomplished treasure trove to American collectors. Rarely seen in the U.S., Hungarian design combines indigenous motifs with medieval and eastern influences for uniquely-flavored Modernist furnishings featuring clean, sensual lines, gorgeous native woods and fine detailing. Szalon displays works by Josef Hoffmann, Otto Wagner, Gustav Giegel, Dagobert Peche, and Joseph Maria Olbrich, as well as pieces by Hungary’s best known native designer, Lajos Kozma, and the renowned Zsolnay ceramics factory. The complementing REVIVALS LINE features new lighting case goods and carpets inspired by the works of Modernist masters like Hoffmann and Kozma.
