Architectural Digest today announced its AD100 list of the top designers and architects for 2017, and among the honorees is Michael S. Smith, whose sole eponymous showroom, Jasper, is a member of LCDQ.

The list includes a select number of Los Angeles designers and architects, many of whom frequent the La Cienega Design Quarter shops, showrooms and galleries. They are:

Jasper showroom founder Michael S. Smith is considered one of the most original and respected talents in the design industry today, with an international profile of residential, hospitality and commercial clients, including the Obamas quarters in the White House. Smith’s eponymous design firm was launched in 1990, expanding from projects solely for private clients to his Jasper line of fine furniture and fabrics sold exclusively in multi-line showrooms around the world.
