• KEYNOTE – Chic Is Chic! The Powerful Pull Between Interiors and Fashion
  Fashion and interiors have long had a beautiful relationship, drawing inspiration from one another for colors, patterns, and shape. Join Jill Sieracki, managing editor of Galerie magazine, for a conversation exploring this incredible intersection with designers Jeremiah Brent, Noz Nozawa and Adam Bram Straus and lighting designer Scott Richler of Gabriel Scott. They’ll discuss how the runway provides endless ideas, how the homes of fashion design legends like Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, and Yves Saint Laurent are endless resources of timeless design, and how luxury labels have upped the ante when it comes to creating their retail experiences.

• KEYNOTE – Creating a Livable Work of Art
  Estate architect Richard Landry and interior designer Philip Nimmo will present the creation of a residence whose design evolved as a contemporary reinterpretation of a classical French château. Moderated by California Homes Editor-in-Chief Susan McFadden and followed by a book signing for Creating a Livable Work of Art, which documents how the home was conceived, designed, and built.

  Born during the pandemic, the Whisky Watercolor Club is a group of 5 esteemed architects who get together on Zoom weekly to talk and paint. Thomas Kligerman, Michael Imber, Doug Wright and Steve Rugo (Ankie Barnes is unable to attend) will have an in-person reunion at LEGENDS and share how painting has served their psyche and their work. Moderated by Michael Diaz-Griffith, Executive Director of the Design Leadership Network. Paintings from each architect will be offered for sale, with proceeds going to charity, and a book signing for Shingle and Stone: Thomas Kligerman Houses will follow the discussion.

• KEYNOTE – At the Intersection of Fashion and Design
  California Home+Design Editorial Director Lindsey Shook sits down with renowned fashion and interior designer Erin Fetherston to discuss the process, challenges and successes of collaborating with major brands.
  Afterwards, guests may enjoy lunch provided by Kogi, the original Roy Choi food truck, while exploring Mehraban’s most recent collections designed by influential collaborators Cesar Giraldo, Citizen Artist and Erinn V, who will be on-hand to share how they translate ideas from pen to rug.

  Beyond sustainability, making conscious choices about what we put in our homes has never been more important—or more in vogue. But does making an ethical choice come with certain compromises? We’ll explore the complications behind making ‘good’ choices, from flooring to furnishings, touching on best practices, working with clients and more.
