Favored by many in the entertainment industry, a new generation of homes is being designed and built in L.A.: properties with private main residences and adjacent (sometimes detached) public arenas in which to shield their private homes. The Hollywood Reporter culture editor Degen Pener will moderate a panel discussion on the rise of large-scale “public/private” homes with Hollywood’s most influential designers, Scott Mitchell, Natasha Baradaran and Trip Haenisch, revealing the duality of their designs and the evolving definitions of public and private spaces.
