Please RSVP with Penelope Francis & Co.

The window unveiling is scheduled on the evening of May 7th, in conjunction with the La Cienega Design Quarter’s first annual Legends event, and will display curtains with Chinoiserie print in vivid colors, an antique settee, historic tables from Navona, and decorative wall coverings painted by the fine artists at Gallagher Designs. Joe Nye’s inspiration behind the window vinette, Iconic designer Sister Parish, has been a muse like figure for Nye since he was a young boy. With this window display, Nye is pleased to have the opportunity to give tribute to Parish’s iconic works. Joe Nye on Sister Parish: “Sister Parish was a seminal influence for American interior design of the 20th century. Known for her work with the Kennedy family during the era of Camelot, her influence can still be seen at the White House where she mentored Jacqueline Kennedy. Her knack for mixing the humble and the grand, the fancy and the plain, made her a master at beautiful juxtapositions and influenced my aesthetic as a designer.”
