The Countdown to LEGENDS 2015: Not Your Mother’s Traditional
In the early days of the La Cienega Design Quarter, the shops offered a heavy dose of antiques. Today, the 57 shops, showrooms and galleries in the LCDQ feature a mix of antiques and contemporary design.
In a keynote led by Jenny Bradley, Traditional Home’s Senior Design & Lifestyle editor, panelists and interior designers Madeline Stuart, Elizabeth Dinkel, and Thomas Callaway will discuss why traditional and historical designs can be the most daring of all for the 21st Century. Join in the conversation on whether traditional design is the most radical work today at the George Smith showroom on Thursday, May 7th, from 11am – 12pm.
Traditional Home‘s Jenny Bradley
Madeline Stuart is a leading member of the Los Angeles design community who’s equally at ease designing a 1920’s Hollywood hacienda, a Fifth Avenue Manhattan apartment or a Rocky Mountain retreat. Her projects reflect a collaborative relationship between architecture and furniture, function and form, client and designer.
One of America’s beloved interior designers, Elizabeth Dinkel’s classic style is fresh, spirited, and timeless. Her firm, Elizabeth Dinkel Design Associates, Inc., specializes in high-end residential projects and has completed homes across the U.S. – with clients from New York to San Francisco, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming.
Thomas Callaway and his interior design staff have completed more than one hundred projects with an emphasis on comfortable, modern living. In each environment he creates, Thomas seeks to reflect the personality and individual desires of the client in a way that feels relaxed, accessible, and current.
