Lajos Kozma, the pre-eminent architect/designer of 20th Century Hungary — designed this Neo Baroque chair. It was designed during his “Kozma Baroque” period of the 20’s before he went into Art Deco,  and later to the clean Modernism of the 30’s. The chair was made in his Budapest workshop that he established in 1913.

Judith Hoffman of Szalon purchased the chair in Budapest, one of her very rare finds during one of her many trips to Hungary. It was later restored in Judith’s own Budapest workshop.

More photos of this chair can be seen on Szalon’s Facebook page as well as more information on 1stDibs.
