Whether you’re a serious art collector or a recreational museum-goer, designers Doug Meyer, Gene Meyer and Patrick Dragonette have got you covered with their compelling fundraiser “Color My World” during the LEGENDS of La Cienega event, May 9-11.

Color My World is an art sale at Dragonette Ltd. on La Cienega Boulevard that provides people the opportunity to purchase artwork by world-renowned designers and creatives at only $200 each. The unique twist? Though the pieces for sale are on public display, their artists remain unknown until after purchase.

The artworks are from a range of talented names in the fields of design, illustration, fashion, and more: Ken Fulk, David Rockwell, Cynthia Rowley, Amy Sedaris and Jeremiah Goodman. All artwork is signed – on the back of course – and proceeds from all purchases benefit Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles.

Color My World will exhibit over 100 pieces of art, all of which are based on a line drawing provided by Doug Meyer to the participants. Doug Meyer created this artistic starting point as a depiction of Mame Dennis’ fictional, Bel Air home (Mame Dennis is a character from the cult 1955 novel, play, and film Auntie Mame), and artists were given absolute freedom over how they wanted to interpret the project.

Interested buyers may sip rosé and view the artwork at Dragonette Ltd on Tuesday, May 9th from 8-10 PM. The sale begins the next day, May 10th, at 1 PM, and purchases can be made in person, via email (dragonette@mac.com), or by phone (310-855-9091). Purchases are on a first come, first serve basis – don’t miss out!
