Chairish, a new online marketplace where lovers of vintage and pre-owned decor can buy and sell to one another, launched a LEGENDS Collection Sale this week featuring items from the LEGENDS 2015 windows, from LCDQ members and from LEGENDS 2015 window designers’ private stockpiles.

From the vintage Polaroid camera featured in Kendall Wilkinson’s Blondie-inspired window at George Smith (pictured below) to a 1950s ice cream cart and sailor steamer trunk, the sale includes a selection of furniture, lighting, art, decor and pillows galore. Some of the LCDQ members participating in the sale include Kristen Buckingham and Lee Stanton’s Stash collection of antiques and curios. Among the LEGENDS designers selling items from their windows or their storage rooms are the San Francisco-based Wilkinson, Julia Buckingham in Chicago and L.A. designer and shop owner Gary Gibson.

Anna Brockway, founder and chief curator of Chairish, says, “We couldn’t be more excited to be working with the taste-making interior designers and shop owners of the LCDQ. Already celebrated for their fantastic taste and inimitable selection of fabulous finds, the La Cienega community is now beloved for the LCDQ design event, which brings together discerning eyes and lively minds from around the world.”

An online swap meet of sorts, Chairish offers designer, custom, antique, or high-end modern and vintage pieces from the likes of Knoll, Herman-Miller, Christian Liaigre, Ligne Roset, B&B Italia, Chanel, Hermes, YSL, Miriam Haskell, etc. They also like to feature non-branded items with great character. The site is user-friendly and simple for anyone wanting to sell, even offering a Chairish iPhone app for people to take snapshots and upload information on items they want to sell.
