Where to Eat: Vito’s

Posted: Nov 18, 2008 | by Allan | Comments (0)

I’m crazy busy, so I won’t get into anything like yesterday’s post.  Instead, I figure I’ll mention one of my favorite places to eat when time is short, Vito’s Pizza ( – really anytime, since I love pizza.)  It’s perfect for lunch.  The pizza is NY style: thin and crispy.  You can just grab a couple of slices and eat them outside.  It’s located in that mini mall just south of Willoughby on the east side of the street.  I also recommend the tailor on the second floor, but I digress. . .If you’ve got some time the pastas are solid, too.  The pesto is particularly good.  Lastly, the staff is very friendly and cool.  They’re young and hip; they’ve got good music playing.  Overall, it’s just a good, neighborhood-y vibe.  Next time you’re wondering around the LCDQ you should give it a try.  Good pizza’s always a tough find in LA.
