“We can all use a little optimism these days (and every day),” says Wendy Haworth about her #LEGENDS2013 window design at Ralf’s Antiques, Inc. “Who doesn’t love a little fuchsia?”
Wendy Haworth Design, Inc. is an L.A.-based full-service design studio offering design consultation, space planning, custom furniture design and branding services. Before turning to interior design, Haworth worked as a magazine photo editor for Vogue and Elle. Traveling the globe seeking out furniture and accessories, Haworth assembles collections of unique pieces for her clients. In addition to residential interior design, WHD also takes on commercial design. Most recent projects include the Café Gratitude restaurant in Venice.
A quote from the designer about this year’s #LEGENDS2013 theme, Time Capsule: The Past, Present and Future of Design:
“In my opinion, the future of design will still be rooted in the past following the belief that good design is timeless and easily updated. I believe in acquiring quality pieces and incorporating them into modern scenes, which ultimately provide the character and patina in a room.”
