Mehraban is proud to participate in the 2010 Esquire House design showcase and charity events. With its return to Los Angeles, the Esquire House continues its tradition of refinement and reinvention, bringing the Esquire tagline, “Man at His Best,” vibrantly to life.

Returning to the fabled Bird Streets of the Hollywood Hills, the Esquire Bachelor has acquired an unparalleled, $19 million property whose view literally commands the entire expanse of Los Angeles. Selected exclusively by Esquire, Los Angeles’s premiere designers, architects and artists have created the ultimate home for the ultimate bachelor; a showcase of effortless urbanity, cutting-edge design, and jaw-dropping technology.

Taking her inspiration from finely tailored men’s clothing, lead designer Elaine Culotti features Mehraban’s Tabriz Haji Jalili Rug, from the Rapture Collection, in her visionary design for the main Living Room. Anchoring the room’s eclectic juxtaposition of traditional and contemporary, Mehraban’s rug speaks to the modern man with an appreciation for tradition and history. This carefully chosen rug ties the room together, adding warmth and texture. The subtle color variations, scale, and design of the rug bring the luxurious materials and finishes of Culotti’s ultimate environment into focus.

Faithful to the original designs, this rug is made of natural-dyed, hand-spun wool. The collection is highly sought after because of theextraordinary patina achieved through an exclusive and time-consuming finishing process. “One of the most important details of these rugs,” explains Soheil Mehraban, owner of Mehraban Timeless Rugs, “is that they are perfect recreations of traditional patterns with the most ideal color palette for today. The refined yet oxidized colors, and the handmade, uneven texture of these rugs give them a sophisticated, antique look. That is why so many high profile designers, like Elaine, choose to work with us to translate their vision into reality.”

The Esquire House is not only about style. Hosted by celebrities such as Sienna Miller and Minnie Driver, this year Esquire has curated a season of star-studded galas and events to benefit its charity partners, including the City of Hope, FasterCures, International Medical Corps, Oceana, and Oxfam.

Mehraban is proud to be associated with a prestigious event whose aim is to raise funds for ‎well-known and worthy humanitarian causes.
