La Cienega Design Quarter 2013

Woven Accents’ window designed by Christopher Howe for #LEGENDS2013.

Christopher Howe combines his English style with L.A.’s laidback vibe in his #LEGENDS2013 window design at Woven Accents. He explains, “This is not at all about bringing British design and history to the U.S., but about combining an Englishman’s aesthetic with a love of L.A.”

Howe is a London antiques dealer. His rare interior design projects are collaborations with treasured clients who share his uncompromising vision of an environment made up of not only beautiful furniture and objects, but also made up of the mood, atmosphere and even the smell created by materials, colors and amazing workmanship. HOWE® is his collection of bespoke furniture and lighting traditionally handmade in England. Each piece of furniture is expertly carved and polished using traditional methods of cabinet making. Equal attention is given to the upholstery, ensuring the highest quality results. His lighting pieces are individually handmade and painted in England and can be made for interior or exterior use, either with a candle fitting or for electricity. There is also a classic collection of table lamps, hurricane lamps and candlesticks in oak, ebony, silver plate, brass and bronze finishes.

Woven Accents is the culmination of a lifetime of work and passion. The Moradzadehs offer a fine array of antique rugs lovingly collected from all over the world and new floor coverings. From the finest palace rugs to the humblest tribal weavings, their collection reflects the vast variety of antique textiles that are available in the market.  The new rugs are hand made by highly skilled artisans using age-old techniques and the finest natural materials. Woven Accents’  collection was born in tiny villages in Turkey, Nepal, Egypt, Iran and far flung corners of the world. Woven Accents has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, 1st Dibs, and Veranda magazine.
