Check out Judith Hoffman’s interview with Dering Hall, on Szalon’s “Revivals Line” of Deco-inspired furniture for Modern Living!
“Hoffman says she always felt an affinity towards Modernism although she didn’t realize why until later in life. In the late 1980s, after cementing a career in hospitality interiors, she began traveling back to Hungary, a place she’d left behind as a young girl at the height of communism. As the political climate changed, in the 1990s many of the state-owned antiquaries started to open their doors to the public and Hoffman rediscovered the modernist designs of her childhood.”
