Where could we possibly begin to tell the story of this year’s Legends of La Cienega event, which exceeded everyone’s expectations? The best way, we realized, is to have our 2014 Legends Ambassadors, some of the most respected and widely followed bloggers in the country, share the event, as they saw it.

We begin with Sketch42 blogger Nicole Cohen. We had introduced Nicole on the LCDQ blog on April 12, but here’s a brief sketch of her career: Nicole Cohen is an abstract artist, photographer, design enthusiast and blogger living in NYC. Through her blog, Sketch42, her home, aesthetic and work have caught the eye of collectors and designers alike. Her work has been featured in various publications, including popular blogs, sites, magazines and books.

Nicole summed up her experience attending and covering LEGENDS as follows: “Hope you all enjoyed the little #Legends2014 tour as much as I enjoyed going! Ultimately, LEGENDS is a time when the LA design community came together to celebrate creativity and inspire each other, and that was an amazing thing to be a part of!”

Her blog, Sketch 42, offers a unique tour of LEGENDS 2014 and the La Cienega Design Quarter.
